Position Summary
Supervisor II will primarily assist Flight Line Director with minimum supervision by directing over all aircraft maintenance Flight Line activity including aircraft maintenance tasks related to Flight Line integration and Pre/Post production flight test/ Delivery operations under EASA Part 21G / TCCA CAR 561- AMO CAR 573/571 and FAA Part 145 and provide the safest and most efficient aerospace System in the flying public and the aviation industry.
Primary Responsibilities
Operations Planning and Training: 40%
Ability to support and direct team leads/ MFT in daily maintenance activity with minimum supervision; Plan and control workload of all assigned employees, adjust headcount, work schedule and overtime to ensure on safe, on quality & on time delivery per approved schedule. Effectively engage with team members and demonstrate ability to carry out daily SQCDP / Daily status meetings and obtain support from the assigned MFT team.
Assisting FL Manager in oversee/ control Flight Line operation Capex and Opex but not limited to maintaining daily cost management.
Responsible for maintaining program Balanced Scorecard targets to ensure program / personal / employee yearly goals/objectives and OJT Poly-Poly program are achievable within guidelines to support rate ramp up.
MFT Collaboration : 30%
Capability to identify potential technical work stoppage, eliminate and anticipate problems which occur in Flight Line and delivery phase, adjust HC/ OT and prepare recovery plan to minimize impact on TOT schedule.
Understand AOS fundamentals and carry out KPI evaluation, identify areas of concerns for improvement. Practicing PPS & Return to Zero policy, monitoring and keeping track of production HC/ budget and daily booking time vs efficiency.
Fully managing MFT team/ shift supervisors/leads in FL production daily pass down meeting, review outstanding RNC/ Cahiers/ TLB/QLB points, organizing workflow and ensuring employees understand their duties, functions and escalation process to achieve daily planned activity expectation.
Supervisory : 15%
Manage team duty cycle, rotation shift / weekend schedule and ability to provide supervision support beyond standard assigned work schedule in short notice to secure planned delivery workflow and schedule on track
Attend Pre-FOT/FOT meetings to assist Flight line Manager in monitoring outstanding works/ budget / corrective action plan /acceptance of Aircraft and Quality Gate “O”.
Responsible/ coordinate FL MFT team leads/ ME/Logistic for cannibalization process/ Recycle parts. Be liaison and POC between Loaner and Donor station MGR to ensure the transaction process is correctly followed.
Work closely with FL team leads /QC/Dispatch and responsible to coordinate priorities in daily and next 24 hrs maintenance / Flight Ops activity planning.
Team and MFT Management : 15%
Work closely with FCM/ suppliers/ trade coordinators during delivery phase in support TLB/QLB point corrective action, buybacks ready to present to customers
Coordinate hiring process, training syllabus and employee development programs within allocated time and budget.
Conduct periodic performance evaluations; make recommendations on salary increases (promotion, merit, and adjustment), transfers, hires, and disciplinary actions up to terminations.

Qualified Experience and Training
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation management
Required Experience
At least 5 years leadership experience required
10 years of aviation experience preferred
Excellent MS Office application, as well as experience in analyzing data.
High degree of flexibility and initiative

Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
