Job Summary 

Real Chemistry is looking for an Account Executive join our growing Medical Affairs team!   

The Account Executive for 'Scientific and Medical Affairs' is the heart-and-soul of the team: The master-coordinator and client's best friend. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team where you will be working directly with an Account Director and Senior Vice President who are keen to welcome and mentor an account associate that's keen to learn and help us continue our client success.  

This is a hybrid role, based in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. This role will work Eastern business hours. 

What you’ll do:  

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of your account, including managing the processes of the account (including running regular internal team meetings), flow of work, delegation of tasks (oversee status reports to ensure all team actions are complete) and the status of jobs across the account (not just your own)  
  • Ownership of and accountability for client projects, ensuring that projects are delivered to highest possible standards within budget and agreed timeframes  
  • Ongoing communication with your account lead on the progress of projects; alerting them to any barriers to project completion and being proactive in making recommendations and proposing solutions on how to proceed  
  • Awareness of the client’s business priorities and a sound understanding of the program strategy; have a good understanding of competitor activity  
  • Maintains understanding of account finances; supports account lead with financial management  
  • Continued professional development engagement; work with manager to identify training opportunities based on areas of interest and need

  • Able to communicate with managers when deadlines will not be met  
  • Able to devise and articulate solutions to problems on an ongoing basis  
  • Able to clearly communicate project updates, scopes and recommendations to clients  
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required  

Pay Range: $55,000-$65,000 + overtime

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
