This role plays a key part in shaping a global learning content portfolio by sourcing, evaluating, and securing high-quality licensed educational materials. You will work at the intersection of publishing, commercial strategy, and relationship management, identifying creators and publishers whose content aligns with defined editorial briefs and market needs. The position requires a strong balance of commercial acumen and editorial judgement to build a sustainable pipeline of learning products. You will collaborate closely with editorial, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired content into the broader catalogue. Operating in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, you will be responsible for negotiating licensing agreements and maintaining strong external partnerships. This is a highly impactful role where your decisions directly influence content quality, revenue potential, and catalogue growth.
- Accountabilities In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and contracting licensed learning content while managing a strong pipeline of creators and publishers aligned with publishing strategy and commercial goals. Source and identify relevant creators and publishers based on defined content briefs and priorities. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with external content partners. Evaluate proposed content against editorial quality, commercial viability, and catalogue needs. Develop and manage a structured pipeline of licensed content aligned with strategic targets. Negotiate non-exclusive licensing agreements reflecting content value and distribution scope. Deliver consistent monthly acquisition targets and support overall licensing KPIs. Collaborate with internal editorial, production, and quality teams for smooth content onboarding. Participate in content strategy discussions and editorial board reviews. Requirements The ideal candidate brings experience in commercial, acquisition, or relationship-driven roles, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 2+ years of experience in acquisition, relationship management, or commercial roles (publishing, media, or digital content preferred). Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships. Commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate content value and make data-informed decisions. Excellent organizational and pipeline management skills with attention to deadlines and targets. Proactive, self-driven mindset with strong resilience in a high-performance environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools. Ability to work effectively in a remote setup with strong time management discipline.
