POSITION SPECIFICS
The Eberly College of Science is seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant - Intermediate Support position. This position will support the Dean’s Office, specifically the Facilities Office.
This position will serve as a point of contact for the Facilities office and will have the opportunity to collaborate with students, faculty, and staff members in the college. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Initiating and coordinating routine administrative and purchasing transactions using University systems (such as PSU Buy, ServiceNow, and Concur)
- Processing work orders and arrange for equipment maintenance
- Providing support for events and collaborating with the Events Coordinator to ensure that events run smoothly
- Providing calendar support for the Director of Facilities
- Issuing and maintaining the college parking database
- Maintaining inventory for the Dean’s Office breakroom
- Distributing internal/external communications related to campus construction, PennDot communications, and travel/parking announcements
- Greeting office visitors and reviewing and responding to inquiries
The selected applicant must have the following skills to be successful in this position:
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with SIMBA, SAP Concur, Service Now, and Maximo preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS)
2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Required Certifications:
None
This position will operate on a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 1-2 days of remote work per week, all questions relating to flexible work arrangements should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $38,300.00 - $55,500.00.
