Job Description
About Pyyne
Pyyne is a modern technology consultancy engineering the next generation of digital products and services.
At Pyyne, we believe in using technology to unlock business potential, create sustainable growth, and drive forward digital excellence. Our solutions range from advanced Software Engineering, Cloud, and Data & AI solutions.
Job Summary
Pyyne is seeking an AI Automation Engineer with experience identifying opportunities for and implementing LLMs into business workflows to work as a consultant out of our South American Office. This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we build up our Applied AI services and continue to create real business value for our clients.
A successful candidate in this role will be comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders to map current business workflows and pain points into real AI-powered solutions. They will be responsible for every step of the process, from client discovery and business analysis to building and deploying the identified solution.
Key Responsibilities
Run structured discovery sessions with clients to map current workflows, pain points, and manual bottlenecks
Identify realistic AI automation opportunities — and just as importantly, tell clients when AI isn't the right tool
Build business cases for automation initiatives: time saved, error reduction, cost impact
Prioritize a roadmap of opportunities based on feasibility, ROI, and client readiness
Maintain trust with clients by setting honest expectations and delivering on them
Translate discovery findings into working automations using tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, LangChain, or custom Python pipelines
Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) into internal tools, data pipelines, and business processes
Write clean, maintainable code — Python primarily, with some JS/TS as needed
Monitor, maintain, and iterate on automations post-launch
Must Have Skills:
3+ years of overall engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years working with AI/LLM tools in production
3+ years of experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data transformation
2+ years of experience with Python as a primary language
2+ years of experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.)
Comfort working with JavaScript and/or TypeScript as needed
Proven ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders — you can run a discovery session, not just a standup
Ability to scope your own work — you can walk out of a client meeting and know what to build next
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or agent frameworks
Background in consulting, professional services, or client-facing engineering
Familiarity with process mapping or business analysis methodologies
Experience building internal tooling or lightweight dashboards
Benefits:
Flexible remote working environment.
Career development opportunities in a fast-growing company.
