We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented AI Security Expert to join our team at D2B. This role is ideal for someone with experience securing AI/ML systems in fast-paced FinTech environments and a passion for protecting intelligent platforms from emerging threats. You will work closely with our engineering, data science, and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures across our AI-driven applications, particularly within the financial technology space. Your experience with Australian, UK, or US-based FinTech companies will be invaluable as you help safeguard our models, data, and digital platforms against evolving security risks while ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.

Position: AI Security Expert

Salary: PHP 70,000 - PHP 120,000/month (flexible for more experienced candidates)

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00AM to 4:00PM PH Time; full-time (remote)

Holidays: TBD


Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain security controls to protect AI/ML systems, models, and data pipelines from internal and external threats.
    • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing specifically targeting AI infrastructure and machine learning workflows.
    • Secure model training, deployment, and inference environments, including APIs, cloud platforms, and data storage systems.
    • Monitor AI systems for anomalies, adversarial attacks, model abuse, data poisoning, and unauthorized access.
    • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and data science teams to integrate security best practices into the AI/ML development lifecycle (Secure AI SDLC).
    • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures related to AI systems and sensitive financial data.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and financial industry security standards.
    • Implement identity and access management (IAM), encryption, key management, and secure authentication mechanisms for AI platforms.
    • Respond to and investigate security incidents involving AI systems, including root cause analysis and remediation.
    • Stay up to date with emerging AI security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

    • 1 - 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, focused on AI/ML security, application security, or cloud security.
    • Experience securing AI/ML systems, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
    • Strong understanding of common security principles, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
    • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including model training, deployment, inference, and common risks such as adversarial attacks and data poisoning.
    • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and cloud security platforms.
    • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
    • Understanding of FinTech security requirements and regulatory compliance standards is highly preferred.
    • Experience working with Australian, UK, or US-based FinTech companies is a strong advantage.
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent are a plus.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
