This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operations, performance, and customer experience of a retail banking branch. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure smooth operations while actively contributing to sales growth, customer relationship development, and team leadership. The position combines frontline customer service with supervisory responsibilities, including coaching staff and supporting lending and deposit activities. You will also step into a leadership role in the absence of the Branch Manager, ensuring continuity of service and performance. - Accountabilities: Support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to policies and procedures. Perform teller duties during peak hours or staffing shortages, maintaining high-quality customer service. Assist in loan origination activities, including consumer and small business loan applications and customer consultations. Drive branch growth by developing new customer relationships, cross-selling financial products, and strengthening existing accounts. Monitor and track sales activity using internal systems to support performance goals and reporting accuracy. Supervise, train, and motivate branch staff, including supporting scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and internal operational guidelines. Represent the branch in community engagement and business development activities to enhance local visibility. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a strong focus on sales and customer service. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a retail banking environment. Strong understanding of consumer and small business lending processes, teller operations, and banking products. Active NMLS registration or ability to obtain and maintain it, including required background and credit checks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted customer relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with banking systems and reporting platforms. Strong knowledge of banking regulations, financial operating procedures, and compliance standards is preferred. Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and step into leadership responsibilities when needed. Benefits: Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $23.27 to $28.22 per hour.
