Job Description

About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

About the Role

We’re looking for an exceptional University Talent Recruiter to help us build a strong early-career pipeline at Solace. This role will be part of a growing team and reports to our University and Early Career Recruiting Coordinator. Positioned at the front of our hiring process, you’ll connect with students and recent graduates while setting the tone for their experience with us.

You’ll spend most of your time speaking with candidates, running structured screens, and assessing fit while helping them understand expectations at Solace. You’ll also guide candidates through offers, ensuring a smooth, thoughtful path to a final decision, and partner with hiring managers on program design to support an effective first 90-day experience.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, communicates with clarity, and takes pride in tight execution and exceptional candidate experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct a high volume of structured recruiter screens with university candidates across multiple roles

  • Assess candidate alignment based on core criteria, potential, and long-term fit with Solace

  • Clearly and thoughtfully communicate the opportunity, helping candidates understand both the role and our mission

  • Own offer conversations, including negotiations, extensions, and guiding candidates through close

  • Maintain organized pipelines with accurate tracking and timely follow-up

  • Use ATS data (Ashby preferred) to monitor pipeline health and stay on top of progress

  • Support sourcing efforts when needed to help build strong candidate pools

  • Travel to campus events and recruiting initiatives during peak seasons (August–November)

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of recruiting experience (agency or in-house)

  • Interest in or experience recruiting early-career or university talent

  • Comfortable managing a high volume of candidate interactions with consistency and care

  • Strong communication skills—clear, warm, and direct, especially in candidate conversations

  • Ability to make thoughtful, efficient decisions on candidate progression

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Familiarity with ATS systems and reporting (Ashby preferred)

  • Willingness to travel during peak recruiting seasons

  • A strong sense of ownership and follow-through, taking responsibility for outcomes

Applicants must be based in the United States.

Up for the Challenge?

We look forward to meeting you.
