- Accountabilities: In this role, you will be responsible for processing and adjudicating healthcare claims while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to organizational guidelines. Receive, review, and process claims by entering and verifying data for completeness and accuracy. Evaluate claim details against benefits, eligibility, and historical records to determine appropriate payment, denial, or correction actions. Resolve claim edits and discrepancies by applying established policies and procedures. Navigate multiple systems to verify information and ensure accurate claim adjudication. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to supervisory staff when necessary. Maintain production, quality, and timeliness standards for all assigned work. Participate in required training sessions and apply updated procedures in daily work. Requirements: The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with structured processes, and able to manage repetitive, high-accuracy tasks in a regulated environment. High school diploma or GED required. 0–1 year of experience in claims processing, administrative, or clerical roles preferred. Basic understanding of administrative systems, records management, and data entry processes. Ability to interpret guidelines and apply structured rules to decision-making tasks. Strong numerical and analytical skills for basic claim calculations and adjudication. Proficiency in using multiple computer systems simultaneously. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good organizational and time management skills to meet production targets. Ability to work effectively in a structured, office-based environment.
