We are looking for an experienced Associate Director with expertise in automotive direct material procurement, strategic sourcing, value engineering, and cost optimization. The candidate should have consulting experience and a proven track record of delivering procurement cost-reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead strategic sourcing and category management for automotive direct materials.
• Drive value engineering, should-cost analysis, and cost-reduction programs.
• Manage supplier negotiations, vendor development, and performance improvement.
•  Identify savings opportunities through localization and alternate sourcing.
•  Lead client engagements, procurement transformation projects, and stakeholder discussions.
•  Present strategic recommendations and mentor junior team members.

 Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 14–18 years of experience in automotive procurement and sourcing.
• Hands-on experience in direct material sourcing and cost
• optimization across multiple automotive component categories.
• Experience with automotive OEMs or Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers.
• MBA from a reputed institute preferred.
