Job Description
  • This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Associate Principal – Wireless/Network in the United States. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership, project execution, and client engagement within complex network and wireless infrastructure environments. You will lead small to mid-scale, multi-discipline engineering projects from early programming through delivery, ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and constructible outcomes. Acting with increasing independence, you will balance hands-on technical design with project leadership, risk management, and cross-discipline coordination. You will also play a key role in strengthening internal systems by improving documentation, contributing to tools and standards, and supporting engineering workflows. Beyond delivery, you will cultivate trusted client relationships through clear communication and reliable execution. This position also offers a pathway to growing technical influence through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and thought leadership activities.
• Accountabilities In this role, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of wireless and network engineering components across mid-sized, multi-discipline projects while ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality standards. You will guide projects from programming through closeout, clarifying requirements, resolving technical issues, and proactively identifying risks to maintain delivery confidence. Lead discipline-specific design and delivery efforts for wireless/network systems across project phases, ensuring accurate documentation, coordination, and constructability. Coordinate closely with cross-discipline teams to align requirements, resolve conflicts, and maintain consistent design intent across stakeholders. Mentor Designers and Engineers by providing technical guidance, reviews, feedback, and structured support to strengthen team capability. Contribute to internal systems by improving standards, documentation, tools, and workflows through structured updates and Pull Requests. Engage with clients through clear communication, workshops, and updates to ensure alignment and build trusted relationships. Support project planning, risk identification, and delivery tracking to ensure adherence to scope, budget, and schedule. Participate in pursuits, technical narratives, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to support business growth and internal capability building. Requirements This role requires strong experience in wireless and network engineering within AEC or complex infrastructure environments, along with the ability to lead project workstreams and mentor junior staff. You bring both technical depth and growing leadership capability, with a strong focus on coordination, documentation, and client communication. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent professional experience. 6+ years of experience in AEC, ICT, network, or wireless infrastructure design and delivery. Strong expertise in network/wireless systems including ICT, Wi-Fi, and related data center or enterprise technologies. Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub. Strong understanding of project delivery processes, cross-discipline coordination, and technical documentation standards. Proven ability to lead portions of mid- to large-scale projects and mentor engineering staff. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Industry certifications such as RCDD, CCNA, CDT, or PE are preferred. Benefits Competitive compensation aligned with experience and expertise ($125,000–$160,000 base salary range). Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents. 401(k) plan with employer contributions and profit-sharing options. Paid parental leave and disability coverage (short-term and long-term). Flexible time off policy plus paid company holidays. Performance-based bonuses and additional lifestyle benefits (including pet and legal support benefits). Hybrid/remote flexibility with periodic client site engagement opportunities. Professional development support, certifications, and structured growth opportunities.
