  • Prepare monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports

  • Complete month-end and year-end close procedures, covering journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and reconciliations

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

  • Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for external accountants and tax agents

  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls

  • Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend process improvements

  • Communicate professionally with clients, accountants, suppliers, and other stakeholders

  • Support ad hoc accounting, finance, and administrative projects as required

Requirements

  • Experience preparing financial statements and month/year-end reports

  • Ability to analyse financial data and resolve discrepancies independently

  • Outstanding attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English

  • Able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities

  • Available to work during Australian business hours (AEST)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting accreditation is advantageous
