Job Description
SUMMARY
The AIXS Modeler is responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining actuarial models within the AXIS platform, with a primary focus on Universal Life products. This role supports implementation, testing, and ongoing model enhancements while ensuring outputs align with accounting and regulatory expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize AXIS modeling software and its calculation engine to develop and maintain actuarial models
- Configure and support AXIS implementations, including system setup and customization
- Perform model testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Analyze model outputs and resolve complex actuarial or technical issues
- Support ongoing model updates and enhancements in alignment with business needs
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of experience in actuarial modeling or insurance-related roles
- Direct experience working with Universal Life insurance products
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and applicable statutory/regulatory standards
- Proven ability to support client work in a non-client-facing capacity
- Prior experience with AXIS implementations and ongoing model support
LOCATION
- This role is considered Remote - with requirement to go ONSITE for the first week for orientation - This role is prefers for the East Coast
