  • As a Benchmarking Program Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to create and evangelize new benchmarking studies, which help customers understand KPI-related benefits they can achieve on AWS. This requires building processes, content, and messaging for internal customer-facing teams and external audiences. You will work cross-functionally to understand requirements, and approaches of a diverse group of internal and external users. This will include developing plans to scale the impact of benchmark studies and assessing innovative ways to apply benchmark insights to help customers with value-based business cases for cloud adoption. Key job responsibilities - Work with cross-functional internal stakeholders to design studies and communicate market realities regarding the economics of running IT applications and infrastructures in the cloud when compared to a traditional data center environment. - Develop and conduct new benchmarking studies to help customers understand the financial and operational benefits of the cloud. - Own the entire benchmarking study process and relationship with external vendors. Including creating RFPs, and evaluating, selecting and managing vendors. - Develop and execute go to market and scaling mechanisms for new studies - Design and manage program impact tracking metrics for management reporting. About the team The AWS Cloud Economics Scale team builds tools, IP, and methodology to help customers identify and quantify value creation opportunities at each stage of their journey to the cloud. We engage directly and collaboratively with customers and internal AWS teams to deliver cloud value expertise. The Cloud Economics Scale team helps answer the question: "What value can I expect to achieve by using AWS?"
Basic Qualifications
  • - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
