Objective Keystone is the leading Local Government solutions in the UK. Objective Keystone is used by nearly 100 local authorities to create critical and statutory documents such as the Local Plan. The result – stronger national and community outcomes and accountability that builds trust in local communities. In this role as a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving and selling new business across Local Government. This role reports to the UK Regional Sales Director and does not have any people management responsibilities.
- A day in your role: Develop effective account management and territory plans Develop and deliver an effective account management appropriate pipeline to achieve current and future year’s quota through personal prospecting and effective marketing programs Production of detailed opportunity plans and pipeline analysis Leverage a strong network and the development and maintenance of relevant industry contacts and influencers Effective use of sales tools such as Sales Force and TAS Working closely with functional teams in pre-sales, services, product management, and marketing to respond to tenders, bid and opportunities to grow revenue Building relationships with Local Government sector
- Your skills, experience and beyond: Strong knowledge of local authorities, particularly around building and planning Proven sales ability, including outstanding negotiation skills and ability to persuade at all levels of business A passionate hunter who enjoys presenting and negotiations Consultative approach to selling with highly developed interpersonal/relationship building skills Strong commercial acumen A pragmatic, dynamic attitude Highly motivated achiever
