As a Business Development Specialist, you will partner with school and district leaders nationwide to support initiatives focused on teacher effectiveness, instructional improvement, and leadership evaluation systems. Combining consultative relationship-building with strategic business development, this position is ideal for someone passionate about educational equity and student achievement. You will engage directly with senior education stakeholders, lead high-level discussions around instructional challenges, and guide districts toward sustainable solutions that improve learning outcomes.   • Accountabilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with superintendents, principals, HR leaders, and district decision-makers across K–12 education systems. Lead consultative discussions focused on teacher and leader evaluation systems, instructional improvement strategies, and district-wide educational goals. Manage the full business development pipeline from initial outreach through partnership agreements and ongoing relationship development. Deliver engaging virtual and in-person presentations, workshops, and meetings to education leaders and stakeholders. Identify district challenges and align solutions that support improved instructional practices, educator effectiveness, and student outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging, strengthen partnership strategies, and enhance program offerings based on client feedback and market needs. Represent the organization at conferences, district meetings, and industry events to expand awareness and develop new partnership opportunities. Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic growth objectives and operational alignment. Serve as a trusted advisor to district leaders by offering insights on evaluation frameworks, school improvement initiatives, and instructional leadership best practices. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience serving as a district-level instructional leader, including direct involvement with HR or educator evaluation systems. Hands-on experience with teacher and leader evaluation frameworks such as Marzano, Danielson, or comparable systems. Proven background leading or supporting instructional improvement initiatives within K–12 education environments. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior district and school leadership teams. Ability to build trust-based relationships and navigate complex educational decision-making environments. Experience in business development, sales, consulting, or other client-facing roles is highly valued. Familiarity with school improvement frameworks, standards-based instruction, and educational leadership practices is preferred. Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and relationship management skills. Self-motivated and comfortable managing a sales pipeline and driving measurable outcomes in a remote work environment. Willingness to travel approximately 35% for school visits, district meetings, and conferences. Passion for improving educational equity, teacher effectiveness, and student achievement outcomes.
