So, what will your new role look like?

As a founding member of our APAC channel team, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing and growing ShareGate’s presence across the Asia-Pacific market. This is a unique opportunity to shape our regional channel strategy from the ground up and build a strong, scalable partner ecosystem in a high-growth territory.

In this role, you’ll lead the development of our hybrid two-tier distribution model across APAC, recruiting and enabling resellers and distributors while driving sustainable partner-led revenue growth. You’ll operate as a strategic individual contributor, owning regional performance and acting as the primary face of ShareGate within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Your understanding of the Microsoft 365 partner landscape and your ability to translate strategy into execution will directly influence ShareGate’s long-term success in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Launch and expand ShareGate’s presence in APAC through strategic channel partnerships;
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard resellers and distributors aligned with a hybrid two-tier distribution model;
  • Develop and execute regional go-to-market plans to accelerate partner-led revenue growth;
  • Build strong multi-level relationships within partner organizations to drive long-term engagement;
  • Enable partners with tools, training, and joint business planning to maximize performance;
  • Forecast regional revenue and provide performance insights aligned with global objectives;
  • Act as the voice of APAC partners internally, collaborating with marketing, enablement, sales, and operations;
  • Represent ShareGate within the Microsoft partner ecosystem and at regional industry events.

 

A typical week?   

While no two weeks in Channel are the same, you can expect to spend your time engaging with partners—virtually and in person—to build relationships, drive enablement, and support them through the sales funnel. You’ll work to expand our partner base in APAC through your network, targeted outreach, industry events, and by following up on inbound interest. Alongside these efforts, you’ll collaborate with our global channel, marketing, and enablement teams to align strategies and share insights that fuel regional growth.

 

What does your future team look like?   

You’ll be the only Channel Account Manager dedicated to APAC, but you won’t be building the region alone. There will be a Technical Sales Specialist in region to support you with our partner’s growth and development. Outside of the region, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative and fast-growing global Partnerships team aligned around ShareGate’s strategic expansion

 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of channel experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software;
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 partner ecosystem including resellers, distributors, GSIs, and consultants;
  • Proven success developing strategic partnerships and driving partner-led revenue growth;
  • Experience working within two-tier distribution models and partner recruitment strategies;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and bias for action;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work independently across time zones in a remote-first environment;
  • Fluency in English; additional APAC languages such as Japanese, Korean, or Malay are strong assets.
