Job Description
Interwell Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead a team of RN Care Managers within our Virtual Clinical Services organization. This team partners closely with other interdisciplinary members to deliver coordinated assessments, education, care planning, and targeted interventions for patients across multiple states through telephonic and virtual care models. Reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager, you will provide direct supervision, coaching, and clinical leadership while serving as a subject matter expert for virtual clinical operations. You will collaborate with clinicians, practice partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality care delivery, strong clinical standards, and an exceptional patient experience.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide leadership, coaching and development for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
- Monitor, supervise and balance workflow of the interdisciplinary virtual clinical care team.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage clinician schedules to meet patient demand and needs.
- Partner with managers to set, communicate, and monitor clinician performance goals, ensuring alignment with program objectives and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching, constructive feedback, and performance support to clinicians, proactively addressing performance issues and identifying opportunities for improvement, growth, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment among direct reports, practice partners, and internal stakeholders, where individual differences are valued and leveraged to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for improving processes and workflows and collaborate with virtual clinical operations leadership and other cross-functional leads to implement changes that enhance efficiency, patient experience, and care quality; monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust as necessary.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of recorded clinician calls to ensure optimal member experience and adherence to clinical standards; ensure patient interactions meet the highest standards of care and empathy.
- Assist with interviewing candidates and training of new hires.
What You’ll Need
- Associate's Degree or higher.
- Hold an active unrestricted clinical license (RN, SW, RD, PharmD).
- Experience in renal care, chronic disease management, or related clinical care management; telephonic or virtual care program experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably leading and developing clinical teams.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and foster a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
- Strong ability to analyze performance metrics, patient feedback, and clinical outcomes to identify trends, address operational issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and Microsoft tools (or equivalent), with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clinicians, patients, and internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, conflict‑resolution, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (including HIPAA), a strong commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical care, and cultural competence when working with diverse populations.
