JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College of IST is seeking applicants for part-time job of Instructional Assistant.
Job duties to include:
- Getting new instructional materials developed for DS 402: Fairness in AI class
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong understanding of machine learning, data science, and AI systems, along with familiarity with key concepts in algorithmic fairness, bias mitigation, and AI ethics. They have experience developing educational or instructional materials, such as lesson plans, assignments, or broader curriculum content, and are able to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and effectively to a student audience. Proficiency with tools commonly used in data science education, including Python and Jupyter Notebooks, is expected. The candidate should also possess strong research and writing skills, with careful attention to clarity, structure, and organization. In addition, they should be able to work collaboratively with instructors, respond constructively to feedback, and demonstrate an interest in interdisciplinary topics at the intersection of technology, ethics, and social impact.
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $31.25.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
