Job Description
M9 Solutions is seeking a Configuration Manager to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active Public Trust clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical and functional configuration across HCM modules for core implementation and client-specific transitions.
- Manage a delivery team of functional and technical consultants; own assignment, quality review, and throughput.
- Own configuration-versus-customization decisions and defend them against the mandate to minimize customization and maintain forward compatibility.
- Manage risk to schedule, quality, and technical outcomes; escalate to the client's Project Manager with recommended mitigations.
- Coordinate release and deployment activity across the nine-environment landscape under approved change control.
- Support agency-specific site surveys as part of flyaway teams.
- Support monthly status briefings with schedule, status, risk, and issue content.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
- An active Public Trust level clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree (Degree may be substituted with equivalent years of experience).
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including 4 years of consulting or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading configuration teams on enterprise HCM or ERP implementations through production go-live.
- Deep Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM functional and technical knowledge.
- Experience managing delivery against hard, externally imposed milestone dates.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Federal HRIT or shared-service platform experience.
- Agile delivery leadership.
- PMP certification.
- Master's degree.
