Job Description
What You'll Be Doing:
- Annotate insurance-related documents and artifacts with precision and consistency.
- Create and refine annotation schemas in collaboration with the AI team.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for annotation.
- Organize and distribute tasks efficiently within the team to maintain high throughput and quality.
- Evaluate annotated data to ensure consistently high accuracy.
- Provide feedback on ambiguous or unclear cases to improve schema and guidelines.
- Use and maintain various annotation tools to facilitate efficient labeling.
- Train and onboard new annotators, ensuring consistency in annotation approaches.
- Identify gaps in annotation schema or SOPs to expand coverage or to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Who We Hope You Are:
- Preferred but not required - Insurance industry experience - understanding of the core concepts and documents
- Preferred but not required - experience annotating or analyzing insurance documents.
- Experience using basic technical tools such as Excel, Word, Slides.
- Attention to detail.
- Logical thinking and execution.
Please note this is a part-time position (20-30 hrs/week). Our hourly rate for this role is targeted at $20-25/hour. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
