Compensation: $135K - $150K

We are hiring on behalf of our client who is a fast-growing software organization dedicated to the development and support of a leading open-source, proof-of-stake decentralized platform. This EVM-compatible network is engineered for enterprise and Web3 applications, prioritizing speed, security, and sustainability through a governance model that includes industry leaders across multiple sectors and regions.

The Developer Relations Engineer – Education Lead will be responsible for scaling how developers learn, build, and deploy on this ecosystem. The primary objective is to transition from ad-hoc resources to structured, outcome-driven learning experiences that guide developers from first interaction to production. This role is pivotal in ensuring that developer education serves as a high-impact growth lever, accelerating onboarding and increasing the number of successful deployments on both testnet and mainnet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end developer education strategy, designing structured learning paths that facilitate production-readiness.
  • Develop high-quality technical learning experiences, including tutorials, structured courses, demonstrations, and code samples.
  • Maintain a consistent content cadence across multiple formats, including written documentation, video content, and interactive modules.
  • Engineer functional applications and templates that serve as both instructional tools and reusable developer assets.
  • Lead technical workshops, webinars, and live coding sessions to engage developers across various skill levels.
  • Identify, track, and analyze education-related metrics—such as completion rates, activation, and progression to mainnet—to iterate on strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and community teams to align educational initiatives with broader ecosystem priorities.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on engineering background with JavaScript, Python, and/or Java, including the ability to build and ship functional applications.
  • Instructional Design: Proven experience designing structured technical learning programs, such as certifications, learning paths, or comprehensive courses.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible learning experiences.
  • Content Delivery: A demonstrated track record of shipping technical content across both written and video formats.
  • Ownership: High degree of autonomy and the ability to set direction within a fast-moving, distributed environment.
  • Data Literacy: Proficiency in using data, including completion rates and engagement metrics, to inform and refine content strategy.
  • Advocacy: Experience engaging developer communities through workshops, hackathons, or live sessions.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Web3/EVM ecosystems (Smart Contracts, Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, ethers.js), knowledge of concepts, or experience with AI-assisted developer productivity tools.
