Overview 
The Digital Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for prospecting and closing sales in GumGum’s Market Leading Advertising platform. Reporting to the Group Digital Director this role is responsible for leading and developing key relationships and strategy across key media agencies and advertisers in the UK. We expect the successful candidate to drive value for our clients through GumGum products & have extensive contacts across the industry

The Digital Manager is a self-motivated individual who can work with internal teams and are committed to achieving and exceeding sales goals while growing GumGum’s products in their allocated region. We are looking for candidates with 3+ year’s experience in Digital Sales or Media Agency side.

What You'll Achieve 

  • Revenue Optimization: Take full responsibility for driving significant revenue across a designated media agency patch.

  • Business Development: Expand existing client accounts while actively prospecting, pitching, and closing new commercial opportunities.

  • High-Volume Sales Execution: Deliver impactful client presentations, winning RFPs, and innovative advertising solutions at scale.

  • Product Upselling & Expansion: Educate clients on market insights to secure growth and testing opportunities for rich media, contextual data, and video solutions.

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, trusted partnerships with key brand and agency contacts to align GumGum solutions with their business goals.

  • Cross-Functional Product Advisory: Translate direct client feedback into actionable insights for the internal Product team to improve our core offerings.

  • Account Collaboration & Delivery: Partner closely with Account Managers and internal teams to ensure flawless, timely execution of sold campaigns.

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Support the Team Lead in developing and landing high-value, enterprise-level sales opportunities.

  • Consultative Selling: Proven ability to diagnose complex client needs and build high-level trust, acting as a strategic partner rather than just selling a product.

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Strong network of existing agency contacts with the ability to build, maintain, and grow client relationships at all levels.

  • Agility & Innovation: Energized by fast-paced environments, with a track record of adapting quickly to changing strategies and rapidly adopting new product innovations.

  • Proactive & Solution-Oriented: A self-motivated professional who uses brand-level insights to challenge audience stereotypes and drive innovative solutions for clients.

  • Digital Sales Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of both Managed Service and Programmatic advertising solutions.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Superb written and verbal communication skills in English, combined with a highly collaborative, team-player mindset.

  • Operational Excellence: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

  • Continuous Learning: Passionate about the digital advertising space, with a commitment to consistently developing both industry and product knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of digital advertising sales experience within a publisher, media agency, or ad tech environment.

  • Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Established relationships and experience working within the WPP patch, specifically Mindshare.

  • Ability and willingness to entertain clients to foster long-term business partnerships.
