This is a senior compensation leadership role focused on shaping and scaling a high-impact business partnering function within a fast-growing, complex organization. You will act as the most senior compensation advisor embedded with key business units, working closely with executive leadership to influence strategic decisions. The role blends people leadership, hands-on advisory work, and enterprise-level compensation strategy. You will lead a team of compensation professionals while ensuring consistency, fairness, and scalability in compensation practices. A strong emphasis is placed on driving business impact through data-driven insights, market intelligence, and trusted advisory relationships. - Accountabilities: Lead, coach, and develop a team of compensation business partners, building a high-performing and trusted advisory function. Serve as the senior compensation advisor to executive leadership, supporting complex and high-impact compensation decisions across key business units. Oversee annual compensation planning cycles, ensuring alignment with internal equity, budget constraints, and enterprise compensation philosophy. Establish scalable frameworks, tools, and standards that improve consistency and quality of compensation partnering across the organization. Guide the team in managing executive offers, equity negotiations, retention cases, and other sensitive compensation scenarios. Conduct and synthesize market analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations for leadership decision-making. Act as escalation point for complex or high-risk compensation matters requiring sound judgment and discretion. Partner with Total Rewards leadership to influence enterprise compensation structures, policies, and long-term strategy. Enable managers and People Business Partners through training, tools, and education on compensation principles and decision-making. Requirements: 12+ years of progressive compensation experience, including significant leadership and business partnering responsibilities. Proven track record of managing and developing compensation professionals in a player-coach leadership capacity. Experience supporting Product, Engineering, or Technology organizations within fast-paced, high-growth environments. Deep technical expertise in compensation design, including market pricing, job architecture, salary structures, and equity programs. Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence C-level stakeholders and senior business leaders. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with high attention to detail and judgment. Ability to operate with discretion when handling sensitive compensation and organizational matters. Experience building scalable compensation frameworks and driving consistency across global or complex organizations.
