This strategic leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and strengthen a global sustainability program within a fast-growing, highly regulated international environment. You will lead enterprise-wide sustainability initiatives with direct exposure to executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders, driving climate disclosure, ESG governance, and long-term sustainability strategy. The position combines regulatory oversight, operational collaboration, and cross-functional influence to ensure sustainability practices are measurable, compliant, and embedded across the organization. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Risk, Operations, and Corporate Communications to deliver transparent, audit-ready sustainability reporting and meaningful environmental impact initiatives.   • Accountabilities: Lead and oversee the global sustainability function, ensuring alignment between sustainability strategy, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk management objectives. Manage the annual climate and sustainability reporting cycle, including mandatory disclosure requirements, governance documentation, Board-ready materials, and year-over-year reporting consistency. Develop and continuously improve greenhouse gas emissions reporting frameworks, including Scope 3 emissions inventories, methodologies, controls, and audit readiness processes. Strengthen sustainability governance, reporting controls, and assurance frameworks to support evolving compliance and disclosure standards. Integrate sustainability and climate-related risks into the broader enterprise risk management structure and executive reporting processes. Partner with business leaders to define sustainability goals, KPIs, ownership structures, and accountability frameworks across global operations. Launch and facilitate cross-functional sustainability initiatives and working groups to support engagement and organization-wide adoption of ESG practices. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, industry groups, and community organizations, to support sustainability communication and transparency efforts. Drive programs focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable procurement, resource optimization, and carbon footprint reduction. Monitor emerging sustainability trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement and long-term strategic planning. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG leadership roles within global organizations. At least 5 years of experience operating in highly regulated manufacturing or biopharmaceutical environments. Strong expertise in climate disclosure frameworks and sustainability reporting standards, including AASB S2, ISSB, and IFRS sustainability guidelines. Proven experience preparing executive- and Board-level sustainability disclosures and governance materials. Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, manage organizational change, and drive measurable sustainability outcomes. Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and Board committees. Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, global, and evolving business environments. Collaborative leadership style with strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to continuous learning and ethical business practices.
