This leadership role sits at the intersection of retail strategy, data science, and AI-driven transformation, focusing on reshaping how large Retail and CPG organizations make critical commercial and operational decisions. You will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on thought leader, helping clients translate complex business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions. The role combines deep industry expertise with a strong understanding of analytics and decision intelligence systems. You will work closely with senior executives across merchandising, supply chain, pricing, and digital commerce to design impactful, measurable solutions. In parallel, you will collaborate with technical teams to embed AI-enabled decisioning into real-world workflows and systems. - Accountabilities: Develop and lead Retail and CPG thought leadership, identifying high-impact use cases for AI-driven decision intelligence and scalable solution frameworks. Drive end-to-end strategy and execution for enterprise client engagements, from problem framing and economic modeling to solution deployment and adoption. Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives including Chief Merchants, Supply Chain Leaders, and Chief Digital Officers. Partner with data science and engineering teams to design and implement AI-enabled systems across pricing, merchandising, inventory, and customer engagement. Translate insights into operational workflows, ensuring adoption of decision intelligence tools across client organizations. Contribute to business development through solution shaping, client advisory, and thought leadership initiatives. Mentor internal teams and support capability development across consulting and delivery functions. Help clients address complex retail challenges such as pricing optimization, inventory positioning, promotion effectiveness, and personalization strategy. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in consulting or industry roles within Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). Strong understanding of retail economics including pricing, promotions, assortment, and inventory optimization. Experience working in omnichannel environments (eCommerce, brick-and-mortar, fulfillment networks). Familiarity with enterprise retail systems such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or similar platforms. Ability to bridge business strategy and technical execution, working effectively with both executive and engineering teams. Proven track record of driving adoption of analytical or AI-driven solutions, not just delivering insights. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics in retail or CPG environments is strongly preferred. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting or advisory environment.
