This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact engineering team responsible for shaping the core experiences of a large-scale consumer platform used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide. You will guide the development of foundational product features that help people connect, communicate, and engage seamlessly every day. Working at the intersection of engineering, product, and design, you will play a key role in defining roadmap direction, improving user experience, and ensuring technical excellence. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on leadership position where you will support full-stack engineers while also contributing technically when needed. You will influence product decisions through data-driven thinking and strong customer empathy, ensuring that every feature delivers meaningful value. The environment is fast-paced, iterative, and highly ownership-driven, with a strong focus on product quality and user engagement.
  • Accountabilities: Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers building core user-facing product experiences. Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, UX Research, and Marketing to define roadmap priorities and product vision. Drive end-to-end delivery of features, ensuring high quality, scalability, and alignment with business goals. Make informed decisions on team resourcing, technical trade-offs, and execution strategy. Contribute to product strategy and help shape engineering best practices across the organization. Participate directly in technical work when needed, including coding, debugging, and system design discussions. Ensure strong execution against product metrics and continuously improve team performance and delivery speed. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, building consumer-facing products across web, mobile, or backend systems. 2+ years of experience in engineering management, leading teams of 5+ engineers. Strong product sense with a deep understanding of user needs and engagement-driven product development. Experience working in metric-driven product environments with clear success KPIs. Strong technical background with the ability to contribute hands-on to architecture and implementation. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to grow and mentor engineers while maintaining high engineering standards. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
