  • Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member in our Devices Finance team. This role will have heavy impact and high visibility to essential, business-critical processes, and will require close partnership with Operations and Product Management Finance. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, data mining and modeling capabilities, keen attention to detail, sound logical reasoning, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Key job responsibilities Primary responsibilities 1. Develop, maintain, and track key operations metrics, in an effort to provide insights and drive cost reductions 2. Own driving, consolidating, and reporting out the comprehensive Amazon Devices Product Roadmap 3. Build and maintain reporting for strategic investments within Amazon Devices 4. Provide support for month end reviews, forecasts, and annual operating plans 5. Build financial models, derive insights from large data sets, and present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership in Operations and Finance 6. Produce ad-hoc analyses and assisting in various projects 7. Drive increased efficiencies by automating reporting & analytics and enhancing existing processes
Basic Qualifications
  • - 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience - Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups), or experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
