Compensation: $60K - $80K
We are hiring on behalf of our client who is a high-growth financial technology firm focused on the next generation of digital dollar infrastructure. Backed by premier venture capital firms, including Paradigm and Dragonfly, the organization is building a full-service platform designed to make issuing, managing, and integrating stablecoins seamless for developers, fintechs, and global institutions.
The organization operates with the discipline of a high-performance finance team and the agility of a crypto-native startup. To support their expanding global footprint, the firm is seeking a FinOps Analyst. This individual will play a vital role in delivering best-in-class operations across product lines, spanning asset issuance, reconciliation, and strategic projects.
This is a hands-on role requiring a high bar for excellence, an instinct for questioning assumptions, and the drive to take ownership of complex, high-impact workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Execution: Execute stablecoin issuance and OTC settlement workflows, including mint/burn processes, wire verification, and inventory management, in strict accordance with established operational controls.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform comprehensive daily and monthly reconciliations across on-chain transactions, processing platforms, and banking records to ensure total accuracy and timely escalation of discrepancies.
- Customer Operations: Manage customer and counterparty inquiries during Asia business hours to facilitate seamless 24/7 global operations.
- Data Management: Maintain and optimize operational trackers, checklists, and reporting dashboards to ensure visibility and repeatability of key workflows.
- Technical Analysis: Assist with on-chain data analysis utilizing tools such as Dune Analytics, Etherscan, and Google Sheets/Apps Script.
- Process Optimization: Continually identify process gaps, propose scalable improvements, and document standard operating procedures as the product suite evolves.
- Stakeholder Communication: Escalate exceptions or anomalies clearly and promptly to the regional FinOps Lead and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Professional Experience: 1–3 years of experience in operations, finance, or a related functional area. Experience within the fintech or cryptocurrency sectors is strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is required. Practical experience with scripting (Google Apps Script, Python, or SQL) is considered a significant advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including wallets, transactions, block explorers, and stablecoin mechanics.
- Detail Orientation: A proven track record of producing accurate, error-free work within detail-heavy and process-driven environments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to navigate ambiguity by asking insightful questions and validating assumptions independently.
- Ownership Mentality: A high degree of initiative, with the ability to take full responsibility for assigned workflows and ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across different time zones and diverse stakeholder groups.
Nice to Have
- Experience with on-chain analytics tools and APIs.
- Familiarity with the mechanics of minting, redemption, and reserve management.
- Previous experience in environments requiring extreme operational precision, such as trading operations, payments, treasury, or settlements.
- Prior tenure at a cryptocurrency exchange, digital asset custodian, or stablecoin issuer.
