We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused French Speaking Rent-a-Car Consultant to join a thriving team based on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria, within the exciting Travel industry. Key Responsibilities
- Assist French-speaking customers with vehicle rental inquiries, bookings, modifications, and cancellations via phone, email, and live chat channels
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on available vehicle categories, rental rates, insurance options, and travel-related policies
- Process reservations efficiently using internal booking and fleet management systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at every stage
- Handle customer complaints and escalations with professionalism and empathy, working to resolve issues swiftly and to the client's satisfaction
- Upsell and cross-sell additional travel services, upgrades, and insurance packages in a consultative and customer-friendly manner
- Liaise with travel partners, airport teams, and rental station staff to coordinate smooth pick-up and drop-off experiences for customers
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system, adhering to data protection and compliance standards
- Stay informed about current travel industry trends, promotions, and seasonal offerings to provide the most relevant and helpful advice to clients
- Native or fluent French language skills (spoken and written) are essential for this role
- Valid EU passport (mandatory requirement)
- A good working knowledge of English to communicate effectively within the international team environment
- Previous experience in customer service, travel industry support, or a rent-a-car / vehicle rental environment is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in standard computer applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new CRM and booking systems
