- Highly competent in Adobe Creative Suite, with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign being essential.
- Portfolio required, including examples of packaging artwork, ideally featuring box die lines and/or label design.
- Working knowledge of the design process from briefing and artwork updates through to print-ready file handoff.
- Comfortable working with supplier die lines, templates, and specifications and adapting them for new SKUs or product variants.
- Understanding of prepress and print production requirements, including bleed, CMYK, spot colours, and related print specifications.
- Experience managing packaging artwork across multiple SKUs or variants simultaneously is highly regarded.
- Experience working with Australian or international FMCG, consumer goods, or product-based brands is highly regarded.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly where packaging errors may impact print production or require costly reproductions.
