Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Head of People to lead and strengthen both Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Teams within a growing staffing and talent solutions environment. This strategic leadership role oversees the complete talent lifecycle, drives operational excellence, develops high-performing teams, and uses data-driven insights to support long-term business goals.
Duties / Task to perform
- Lead and mentor Talent Acquisition and HR teams, providing structure, guidance, and effective delegation.
- Oversee recruitment operations, including candidate pipeline management, shortlist reviews, sourcing strategy, and process optimization.
- Ensure a seamless talent lifecycle from candidate attraction and onboarding through ongoing freelancer or employee engagement.
- Develop strategies for conflict resolution, employee relations, and stakeholder support to maintain strong client and workforce relationships.
- Design and implement organizational well-being, retention, engagement, and professional development initiatives.
- Establish, track, and improve HR and recruitment KPIs, metrics, and reporting processes.
- Lead workforce planning, growth projections, and strategic people initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive data quality and analytics projects to improve reporting accuracy and decision-making.
- Present performance reports, achievements, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the People function.
- Proven experience leading and managing multidisciplinary HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Background in staffing agencies, recruitment firms, staff augmentation, or similar talent-focused industries.
- Strong leadership, delegation, coaching, and team development skills.
- Advanced experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, talent sourcing strategies, and Boolean search techniques.
- Hands-on knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, organizational development, and conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience managing KPIs, workforce metrics, reporting, and forecasting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
- Experience designing well-being, training, retention, and professional development programs.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
- Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.
Schedule & availability: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM EST
For candidates located in Maracaibo, Venezuela, during the first three months, you will need to work on-site at the Valle Frío office. After this period, your schedule will transition to a hybrid model, with two days in the office and three days working remotely each week.
