About the department:
Our HR Shared Services team focuses on value creation through enhanced customer service delivery, improved customer satisfaction, and creating capacity within the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) of HR for increased strategic and business focus. We provide internal support for multiple HR functions/HR employees (e.g., Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Benefits, etc.). The HR Shared Services Employee Partners provide Tier 2 support to Franklin Templeton’s employees and leaders in the Americas.
How you will add value:
• Provide guidance and potential solutions to employees and leaders on policies, procedures, Benefits, Compensation, HR tools, resources, processes, and other escalated inquiries.
• Provide solution support on self-service processes such as Workday and MyFT resources.
• Provide rollout and implementation support to HR Centers of Excellence (HR COEs) on projects and initiatives.
• Proactively look for continuous process improvement opportunities and assist in defining process flows.
• Remain up to date on employment regulations and best practices in the local market.
• Provides broad assistance to HR Business Partners to keep HR initiatives aligned with line of business (LOB) goals.
• Partner effectively with HR Shared Services, Payroll, and other departments to resolve escalated inquiries.
• Partner with and escalate complex issues to Global Policy and Risk.
Provide employee and leader consultation and coaching on routine employee relations matters.
What will help you be successful in this role:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years related experience in HR role with generalist responsibilities including employee relations.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
• Proficient with Workday, MS Office products and ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
• Ability to maintain data integrity and security.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to build credible relationships and strong analytical capability.
Work Schedule & Location:
This role follows a hybrid work model based in Rancho Cordova, CA.
Two days in office, three days remote.
8:30am – 5:00pm PT
