Job Description

In-Home Hospice & Euthanasia Veterinarian — Pearland & Friendswood, Texas.

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring Full-Time in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinarians to serve pet families across Metropolitan Pearland & Friendswood, Texas. $110,000–$140,000, you set your own schedule, and there is NO Non-Compete agreement.

No waiting room. No double-booked appointment columns. No production dashboard. Just you, a family who loves their pet, and the time to provide end-of-life care the way you believe it should be provided.

Why veterinarians choose Heartstrings

  • No non-compete. None. Not a shortened one. Not a smaller radius. Not a "reasonable" restriction. Your career stays yours.
  • Privately held, family-owned, doctor-led. We are not a private-equity-owned veterinary group.
  • You set your hours. Self-managed scheduling, backed by a dedicated scheduling, operations, and veterinary medical team.

Who thrives here

Doctors who have always been best in the moments that matter most - the hard conversations, anticipatory grief, and compassionate end-of-life care.

If you have ever finished a euthanasia appointment thinking "that was the most meaningful thing I did all week — I just wish I'd had another twenty minutes," you already understand this work.

Strong fit for experienced general practice and emergency veterinarians stepping away from clinic pace without stepping away from medicine, veterinarians returning to clinical practice, and doctors building a schedule around family or life outside of work.
