Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to company employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
- Manage and monitor company IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Assist in maintaining data security and backup systems to protect company information.
- Document internal procedures, prepare user guides, and train employees on new technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Respond promptly to support requests and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with IT security practices and data backup procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist users with varying technical expertise.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
