  • Accountabilities: Develop, test, maintain, and optimize PowerShell scripts to automate operational workflows and improve infrastructure efficiency. Build and manage enterprise scheduling workflows within JAMS Enterprise Scheduler and related orchestration platforms. Monitor automation jobs proactively, troubleshoot execution failures, and implement corrective actions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. Maintain and administer Azure SQL Elastic Jobs and enterprise databases while ensuring performance optimization and operational stability. Create and maintain automation inventories, incident trackers, documentation, and knowledge base resources for operational transparency and support. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to design scalable automation solutions and system integrations using REST APIs and cloud services. Support installation, updates, patching, and maintenance of automation tools, reporting systems, and scheduling environments. Participate in automation and cloud transformation projects while identifying opportunities for process optimization and operational improvements. Ensure compliance with change management procedures and maintain 24/7 operational readiness of automation environments. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding licensing, support agreements, and platform enhancements. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience working within infrastructure, automation, or cloud technology environments. Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerShell scripting and automation development. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments and Microsoft SQL Server administration. Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services, Azure SQL Databases, JSON scripting, and REST API integrations. Familiarity with cloud database technologies including MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB. Experience supporting enterprise job schedulers, workflow orchestration platforms, and automation monitoring systems. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving in production environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and operational accuracy. Experience with JAMS Enterprise Manager, Azure SQL Elastic Job Agent, or Microsoft System Center Orchestrator is highly valued. Azure or AWS certifications are considered an advantage.
