It supports trusted advisors by combining modern technology, professional support, and human oversight to keep advisors central to the estate planning process and to help ensure plans are completed and funded as intended without practicing law. The organization is a small, fast-moving team focused on customer impact, product design, and leveraging AI-assisted development.

2. About the Opportunity: The Junior Full Stack Software Engineer role is designed for someone who enjoys building products, solving problems, and learning continuously. The position involves working closely with technical leadership, product teams, and other engineers to develop and improve software used by financial advisors. The role combines hands-on development with product collaboration and ownership of features and projects, offering opportunities to deepen technical skills, product understanding, and overall impact.

3. Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain product features focusing on usability, reliability, and quality.
  • Own features and projects from implementation through deployment, collaborating with teammates to deliver reliable software.
  • Use modern AI development tools to accelerate coding, testing, research, and prototyping.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to understand customer needs and improve the product.
  • Contribute to testing, observability, performance, and developer tooling to enable confident and efficient releases.
  • Develop technical expertise, product thinking, and customer understanding to expand impact.

4. Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience in a startup, small-team, or entrepreneurial environment valuing ownership, initiative, and adaptability (strongly preferred).
  • Experience shipping and maintaining production software.
  • Experience owning features from implementation through deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of outcomes.
  • Commitment to code quality, maintainability, and thoughtful engineering.
  • Use of AI development tools within the workflow.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working across the full technology stack and learning new technologies.
  • Proactive in improving product, team, and engineering practices.
  • Thrives in small teams valuing flexibility, initiative, and continuous learning.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • Salary range: $100,000–$130,000, depending on experience.
