Job Description

Ace IT Careers is recruiting for a current Junior QA Analyst opportunity supporting a technology delivery team. This position is suitable for candidates with foundational software-testing knowledge and up to two years of professional, internship, academic-project, or equivalent hands-on experience.

The Junior QA Analyst will help evaluate web-based and business applications, document test results, identify defects, and work with developers and business stakeholders to improve product quality. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable learning new systems, and able to explain testing observations clearly.

  • Review business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare and execute functional, regression, smoke, and usability test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Reproduce reported issues and provide clear supporting evidence.
  • Participate in Agile meetings, sprint planning, and defect-review discussions.
  • Maintain test documentation, execution results, and quality reports.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other QA team members.
  • Perform basic API, database, or cross-browser validation when required.

Qualifications

  • Up to two years of software testing or related project experience.
  • Understanding of the software development and testing life cycles.
  • Familiarity with test cases, test scenarios, defect reports, and regression testing.
  • Exposure to Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or a similar tracking platform.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, API testing, Postman, or browser developer tools is helpful.
  • Strong written communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for the applicable employment arrangement.


A college degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field is helpful but not required when equivalent skills or project experience can be demonstrated.

Compensation and Employment

The anticipated compensation range is $30–$38 per hour, depending on experience, technical alignment, location, employment structure, and the final hiring-employer evaluation. Exact compensation, benefits eligibility, work schedule, and employment terms will be confirmed before the interview process advances.
