With more than 400 talented people across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA, we're a leading GovTech SaaS company making a real impact. We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior Software Support Analyst based in Sydney who's curious, loves solving problems, and is excited to learn. If you're someone who enjoys figuring out how things work, picks up new technology quickly, and wants to build a long-term career in software, we'd love to hear from you. You don't need years of experience—we're looking for potential, attitude and a genuine passion for technology.
  • A day in the role: Help customers solve technical issues through phone, email and remote support. Investigate problems, troubleshoot issues and deliver solutions that make a real difference. Learn our software inside and out, using testing environments to recreate and resolve customer issues. Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted technical contact. Work alongside Development, Product and Customer Success teams to improve products and customer experiences. Participate in customer meetings, prepare reports and contribute ideas that improve the way we work. Continuously develop your technical knowledge while working on real-world software used by government organisations.
  • What we're looking for: Learns quickly and loves picking up new technology. Is naturally curious and enjoys solving puzzles and technical challenges. Takes initiative and isn't afraid to ask questions. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Enjoys working with people just as much as working with technology. Is organised, motivated and keen to grow your career. Ideally you'll also have: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Exposure to Microsoft operating systems. Some knowledge of databases such as MySQL or SQL Server. An understanding of basic troubleshooting or software support principles.
  • Why join us? A clear career development pathway with opportunities to grow. Hybrid working that supports work-life balance. Access to extensive learning resources, technical development and ongoing mentoring from experienced professionals. A collaborative, supportive team that genuinely wants to see you succeed. Modern open-plan offices where ideas are welcomed and innovation is encouraged. Regular social events, team celebrations and opportunities to connect with colleagues. The chance to work on meaningful software that positively impacts communities across Australia and around the world.
  • If you do not tick every box, do not let that stop you. We value potential, learning agility, coachability and diverse perspectives just as much as experience, and we encourage you to apply. At Objective, we recognise and celebrate our diverse team as pivotal to our strong employee engagement and our high-performing culture, underpinned by Our Values. We are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on any protected characteristics or on any other basis prohibited by applicable laws in the regions where we operate. To ensure a positive experience, please inform our Talent Team of any adjustments or accommodations you may require during the recruitment process, so we can support you effectively.
