Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Location: New York
Setting: Remote/Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 a year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to work with New York clients in a remote setting. You will provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families, help clients understand and manage relationship or household challenges, and complete the clinical work needed to support safe, organized, and effective care.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote counseling services through a secure telehealth platform
- Work with individuals, couples, and families on clinical treatment goals
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Support clients with family dynamics, relationship concerns, emotional stress, and communication issues
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment when appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate client records
- Active LMFT license in New York
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals, couples, or families
- Comfortable providing therapy through telehealth
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload
