This role sits at the heart of global employee lifecycle management, focusing on delivering seamless, compliant, and high-quality employee offboarding and employee relations support across multiple jurisdictions. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through complex employment transitions, legal requirements, and sensitive workforce situations with professionalism and care. Operating in a fully remote, globally distributed environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, payroll, customer success, and compliance to ensure smooth and compliant employee exits. The position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes across different countries. You will also contribute to improving internal processes, enhancing automation, and elevating the overall employee and client experience. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international HR environment and enjoys solving complex employee lifecycle challenges.
- Accountabilities: Manage end-to-end employee offboarding processes across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive client experience. Provide expert guidance on terminations, resignations, transfers, redundancy processes, and employment contracts in alignment with local labor laws. Lead sensitive employee relations discussions, including consultations, negotiations, and termination meetings, while ensuring professionalism and legal compliance. Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Customer Success, and others) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant offboarding execution. Draft, review, and manage termination and employment-related documentation with strict attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory standards. Act as a subject matter expert for offboarding and employee relations queries from both internal teams and external clients. Support preliminary assessment and coordination of employee relations cases, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation when needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhanced employee lifecycle experiences. Requirements: Experience as an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, or similar HR generalist role with exposure across the employee lifecycle. Strong experience managing employee exits (voluntary and involuntary) with a focus on compliance, sensitivity, and professionalism. Solid understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. Basic knowledge of employee relations principles, disciplinary processes, and workplace procedures. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations effectively. Ability to interpret complex HR issues and provide clear, practical recommendations in ambiguous situations. High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality. Proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment. Strong English communication skills (additional languages are a plus). Benefits: Fully remote work with the flexibility to work from anywhere. Flexible paid time off and flexible working hours (async-first culture). 16 weeks of paid parental leave. Mental health support services. Stock options as part of the compensation package. Learning and development budget for professional growth. Home office and IT equipment budget. Budget for co-working spaces or local in-person social events. Global, distributed work environment across multiple continents. Strong focus on work-life balance and autonomy.
