This leadership role sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations, software engineering, and network infrastructure, driving the digital transformation of advanced production environments. The position is responsible for enabling secure, real-time connectivity between operational technology and IT systems across geographically distributed manufacturing sites. You will lead a large technical team, ensuring high performance in software development, network engineering, and systems administration. The role plays a key part in improving manufacturing visibility, efficiency, and cybersecure connectivity. It requires strong leadership in both people management and technical execution within complex, fast-paced environments. You will collaborate across multiple functions to align technology solutions with manufacturing business needs and long-term operational goals. • Accountabilities: Lead and manage a distributed technical team supporting manufacturing software, networking, systems engineering, and cybersecurity initiatives across multiple sites Oversee the design, deployment, and support of secure network infrastructure and digital manufacturing connectivity solutions Ensure integration between IT and operational technology systems to enable real-time manufacturing data visibility and analytics Guide project execution, Agile delivery practices, and continuous improvement of internal processes and system performance Partner with manufacturing stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions Provide technical direction, mentoring, and career development for team members while managing hiring and onboarding activities Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across engineering, operations, and enterprise IT teams Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in software, networking, cybersecurity, or manufacturing environments At least 3+ years of experience leading technical teams in a managerial or supervisory capacity Strong understanding of software engineering practices, SDLC, and network infrastructure concepts Experience working with manufacturing systems, operational technology, or industrial environments preferred Familiarity with Agile methodologies and managing geographically distributed teams Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams Ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, and operate effectively in fast-paced environments US citizenship required with eligibility to obtain government security clearance Benefits: Competitive base salary with potential annual bonuses and performance incentives Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance protection Paid time off including vacation, holidays, and personal days Retirement savings plan with company contributions Flexible work arrangements with remote-first structure (US-based) Career development opportunities in advanced manufacturing and digital systems Exposure to large-scale, high-impact engineering and technology programs.
