The Role

Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Intelligence, the Manager, Regulatory Tracking Operations Counsel oversees the end-to-end workflow for monitoring, collecting, and processing federal and state regulatory changes, industry trends, and supervisory developments. This role ensures that Ncontracts receives timely, accurate, and comprehensive regulatory data and transforms that data into structured inputs for compliance content creation, customer communications, and AI-enabled products. The manager leads resources responsible for tracking, summarizing, tagging, and analyzing regulatory data, and plays a central role in maintaining a proprietary regulatory library used for AI product creation and validation.

You Will

  • Manage a team of compliance specialists who track, summarize, tag, and analyze regulatory changes across federal and state governing bodies.

  • Ensure timely and accurate ingestion of all regulatory, legislative, legal, and industry developments into Ncontracts’ systems.

  • Coordinate with the Director of Regulatory Intelligence on high-impact regulatory events and emergency response communications.

  • Improve existing systems and implement new processes to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of tracking operations.

  • Ensure tracking output is accurate, consistent, and ready for downstream processing by compliance content teams.

  • Oversee change assessment workflows, including determination of content impact, tagging requirements, and routing to internal SMEs.

  • Support the development and maintenance of metadata, taxonomies, tags, and classification logic used across Ncontracts’ solutions.

  • Train team members on regulatory tracking methodologies, accuracy standards, and interpretation techniques.

  • Monitor performance metrics (timeliness, accuracy, completeness) and drive continuous improvement.

  • Assist with maintaining and quality-checking regulatory datasets, including structured data used for AI model fitting, prompts, and scenario inputs.

You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Advanced knowledge of financial services’ regulatory and legal structures, agency publications, and supervisory frameworks.

  • Strong operational skills with the ability to automate data-heavy, repeatable workflows.

  • Experience managing high-impact teams.

  • Understanding how regulatory change is consumed by financial services companies.

  • Excellent organization, documentation, and communications skills.

  • Ability to interpret regulatory and legal documents and determine relevance and impact.

  • Ideal team player (hungry, humble, smart, innovative)

Required Education and Experience

  • JD required to interpret and define the applicability of laws and regulations

  • 5+ years of financial regulatory, compliance, and operational experience

  • Experience managing teams (preferred)

  • Experience implementing automation, efficiencies, or AI-driven workflows
