Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute manual test strategies for Layer 2/Layer 3 switching platforms, ProAV (Audio/Video over IP), and associated UI software.
  • Validate features related to VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, multicast routing, Dante, and network-based audio/video control protocols.
  • Design and maintain test cases in collaboration with developers, product managers, and system architects.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and stress testing on web interfaces, mobile apps, and embedded device firmware.
  • Log detailed and reproducible issues in Jira; verify fixes and provide input on root cause analysis.
  • Analyze system behavior across multiple platforms (Web, Mobile, Networked Devices).
  • Contribute to test documentation including test plans, bug reports, and test summaries.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manual QA for Networking products or ProAV systems
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (VLANs, switching, routing, WiFi, VPNs, OSI model).
  • Exposure to AV protocols and devices such as Dante, Q-Sys, Crestron.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and Romanian (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and agile team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Bash for test automation or log analysis.
  • Experience testing or working with Ethernet switchesPoEAVB/TSN, or broadcast-level streaming protocols.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, SNMP, or remote device debugging.
  • Previous experience working with Ubiquiti or similar enterprise networking hardware.
