We're seeking a Marketing Activation Specialist to drive marketing activation decisions and performance optimization across Amazon's fulfillment sites in the Americas. Similar to a Marketing Operations Specialist, this role combines data-driven activation logic, risk assessment, and stakeholder alignment to maximize recruitment marketing efficiency and fill rate performance. You help thousands of people get a job every year As a marketing performance analyst with cross-channel impact, you'll manage weekly marketing activation decisions that determine application needs and paid marketing support levels for thousands of hires across US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and beyond. Through systematic override management and stakeholder communication, you'll ensure optimal marketing allocation while building toward automated decisioning – to help scale up your impact. Your daily work—monitoring marketing pacing, analyzing site performance across multiple data sources, and proactively optimizing channel mix and spend efficiency—directly translates to hiring outcomes at scale. You influence leadership decisioning and directly support organizational goals Your insights shape executive strategy. You'll produce WBR presentations that showcase risk sites and marketing performance for senior leadership, maintain alignment with business managers and global risk teams on hiring challenges, and implement data-driven adjustments to marketing strategies for underperforming locations. This role balances tactical execution—including real-time ramp-down decisions when targets are met—with strategic initiatives to improve application quality and velocity, and enhance overall marketing efficiency in support of enterprise hiring goals. Key job responsibilities Marketing Activation & Risk Management — Produce weekly marketing activation logic for Americas fulfillment sites, including application need and paid application need assessments; manage overrides through ticketing and log decisions to support automation development Marketing Performance Optimization — Review performance data across multiple dashboards to identify opportunities to improve channel mix, spend efficiency, fill rates, and future labor order projections Pacing Management — Conduct daily reviews of marketing support delivery; implement ramp-down or pause decisions when application targets are met and share insights with program management to improve paid marketing efficiency Application Quality & Fill Rate Improvement — Monitor site performance against fill rate and non-paid application share goals; adjust marketing strategies for underperforming sites and implement data-driven optimizations to meet application delivery needs Marketing Projects — Partner with Channels teams to develop campaigns and tests to improve volume and quality applications Stakeholder Communication & Alignment — Produce weekly WBR deep dive presentations showcasing risk sites and marketing performance for senior leadership; maintain regular communication with business managers and global risk teams on fill risk and marketing actions Executive Reporting & Insights — Translate complex marketing performance data into clear, actionable insights for leadership audiences to inform strategic decisioning A day in the life Your day starts with previous day performance data review across hiring locations, identifying hiring risks and any changes to hiring needs. You leverage weekly activation logic determining marketing support levels, manage override requests through project management tools, using data-driven decisions, and meticulously log each override to enable future automation. Mid-day brings deep dives into risk site performance across multiple dashboards, partnering with the Performance Marketing team to optimize channel mix and spend efficiency. You lead stakeholder communications through weekly WBR presentations, aligning with business managers and data teams on risk mitigation. Daily pacing reviews drive real-time decisions on ramping down or pausing campaigns when targets are met, with insights shared to improve paid marketing efficiency. Throughout, you monitor application quality and fill rates, adjusting strategies for underperforming sites to meet delivery goals while supporting spend efficiency goals by maximizing non-paid application share. Basic Qualifications
- - 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion - Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels - Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
