  • This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid Market Account Executive based in Australia. As a Mid Market Account Executive, you will drive new business growth by introducing an integrated commerce and financial technology ecosystem to mid-market sellers across diverse industries. You will own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close. The role combines strong hunting instincts with consultative selling and strategic account execution. You will build your own pipeline, navigate complex multi-stakeholder deals, and tailor multi-product solutions to individual business needs. Working closely with Business Development, Product, Marketing, Implementation, and Operations, you will help customers solve meaningful business challenges. This is a high-accountability, target-driven role within a globally distributed and collaborative environment.
  • Accountabilities Own the complete outbound sales cycle for mid-market customers, from prospecting and initial engagement through discovery, negotiation, and closing. Build and manage a high-quality pipeline using cold outreach, social selling, targeted campaigns, referrals, and creative outbound strategies. Identify and pursue net-new business opportunities, independently developing prospects into qualified opportunities and closed customers. Conduct high-impact discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, commercial priorities, and operational needs. Develop tailored multi-product solutions that address the specific requirements and growth objectives of each merchant. Lead product demonstrations, presentations, negotiations, and complex sales conversations involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor throughout the buying journey, adapting between business development, account executive, and account management responsibilities when required. Partner with internal Business Development teams to optimize lead flow while maintaining ownership of net-new logo acquisition. Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Implementation, and Operations teams to deliver cohesive customer solutions and a strong buying experience. Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and up-to-date sales activity in Salesforce. Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Requirements: 6+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding quota. Proven success in outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and net-new customer acquisition; SaaS or fintech experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience closing complex, multi-threaded B2B deals involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles. Strong ability to build a pipeline from scratch through targeted, strategic, and persistent outreach. Excellent communication, presentation, discovery, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across phone, video, and written channels. Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to diagnose customer challenges and connect them to tailored business solutions. Proactive and resilient approach to sales, with creativity, persistence, commercial drive, and strong ownership of outcomes. Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment. Advanced proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales engagement and productivity tools. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously. BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience. Strong adaptability and comfort working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
