The Role in a Nutshell 🐿️
To grow, develop, and retain a profitable portfolio of mid-market customers through proactive, telephony-based account management. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.

👉 Drive revenue growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
👉 Maintain accurate and timely records in the Salesforce system to support forecasting and pipeline visibility.
👉 Build strong, trust-based relationships through regular telephony-based engagement.
👉 Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues efficiently and professionally.
👉 Prioritise customer engagement based on data insights and business value.
👉 Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Operations, Sales Support) to ensure service excellence and data accuracy.
👉 Provide accurate sales forecasts on a daily and weekly basis.
Sales goals:
👉 Achievement of monthly revenue targets as defined by the business.
👉 Contribution to a £5 million annual revenue target through effective pipeline management.
👉 High levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
👉 Accurate Salesforce data to support business planning and reporting.
👉 Increased customer lifetime value through strategic account development.
Key ingredients for the role
✅ Proven experience in a sales or account management environment.
✅ Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
✅ Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce systems.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✅ Ability to manage large datasets and extract actionable insights.
✅ Knowledge of the UK energy market and supplier propositions is desirable.
