Mid/Senior Java Developer | Contract

Job Description

• We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer to join a long-term telecom project. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working with microservices architecture, and ensuring high-performance systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java development, solution design, REST APIs, and modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
• Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java. Work with microservices architecture and contribute to technical solution design. Build, maintain, and optimize REST APIs and backend systems. Support delivery through CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices. Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Apply software security principles and development best practices. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in a long-term project setup.
• Must-Have Requirements: Proven experience in Java development with a strong technical background. Expertise in solution design and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience building and optimizing REST APIs and backend systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of DevOps practices and related tools. Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Lithuanian citizenship required. Fluent Lithuanian. English B2+, written and spoken.
• Nice to Have: Experience working on telecom projects.
• €30 - €50 an hour
