Job Description
M9 Solutions is seeking an Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active Public Trust clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Configure assigned Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules to meet federal baseline and client-specific requirements.
- Support Fit-Gap Analysis by comparing federal business processes to baseline platform capability, and document fits, gaps, recommended resolutions, effort, and risk.
- Determine and defend whether each requirement is met out-of-the-box, by configuration, or requires customization - with a strong bias toward configuration that remains forward-compatible with future releases.
- Develop functional design documentation and configuration workbooks.
- Build and execute test scripts; support user acceptance testing and shadow-mode operation using obfuscated production data; drive defect resolution.
- Release and validate configurations in non-production, then in production following client go-live approval.
- Develop CDRL content for assigned functional areas, including release notes, training materials, and online help content updated with each production release.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
- An active Public Trust level clearance is required.
- Undergraduate degree (Degree may be substituted with equivalent years of experience).
- 2 – 5 years of relevant functional or technical experience.
- Hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM configuration experience in at least one module.
- Experience gathering requirements and producing functional design documentation.
- Experience supporting UAT cycles and production releases.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Federal HR experience; familiarity with the Guide to Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA), the Guide to Data Standards, and EHRI reporting.
- Experience migrating from PeopleSoft HCM or a legacy mainframe HR system.
- Multi-module Fusion HCM experience.
- Oracle Cloud HCM certification.
