Description
- OTR Regional Coordinator is a strategic position designed to drive alignment, standardization, and operational excellence across all last mile OTR operations within the region. Unlike a station-level role, this position operates at the regional level, coordinating efforts across multiple delivery stations. OTR Managers at each station will report indirectly to this role, and the Regional OTR Coordinator will function as a peer to Delivery Station Managers. As a OTR Coordinator, you will influence cross-station OTR strategy, ensure consistency in on-road execution, and act as the single-threaded owner for regional OTR performance. You will negotiate priorities across stations, align capacity planning with regional goals, and drive data-driven decisions that impact DSP readiness, Flex channel management, fleet design compliance, and last mile delivery metrics across the network. During Peak Events this role requires working weekends, holidays, and night shifts to ensure flawless regional execution. You will lead pre-peak readiness audits, coordinate escalation protocols, and serve as the regional POC for OTR-related decisions. Key job responsibilities The key areas you will focus on at this position are: - Safety (supporting all programs) - Service quality/customer experience - Productivity of your department - People Experience A day in the life - Review regional forecasts across all stations, identify capacity gaps, and align on-road resource planning to meet network goals. - Audit and standardize safety programs and delivery service provider compliance across the region. - Identify process improvements at individual stations and scale them regionally using Lean methodologies. - Analyze cross-station on-road metrics, root cause recurring misses, and translate data into actionable priorities. - Coach and influence station on-road managers without direct authority — earn trust through data and results. - Coordinate peak readiness and align execution across all sites.
